TED LAPIDUS

Ted Lapidus, founder of the brand in 1951, was one of the first to impose his fashion on the streets with the safari jacket, the "uniform" style or inisex spirit. In 1963, Ted Lapidus joined the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne. His fashion was defined as a blend of perfectly cut garments with a touch of extravagance. He was in fact one of the designers loved by the stars of the time, in particular Bridgette Bardot and John Lennon.
