The Paris-based brand's story began with Dr Nadia Payot's first meeting with famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. She was struck by the youthfulness of Pavlova's body but noted the fatigue on the ballerina's face. This discrepancy inspired Payot to develop a number of skincare products, facial treatments and specific application methods for that could be used at the home. She later opened her beauty salon. All this happened in 1917. Today, three generations later, the Payot brand is available throughout the world in over 45 countries. One of the brand's philosophies is to nurture a woman's soul as well as her beauty.
