Makes my hair soft and helping stop the hair breakage. I didnt get the Smoothing balm because I dont use heat like flat irons, hot curing irons only the one with on and off switches. The curling irons with the heat control I get it to hot., i just uses K-pak shampoo, conditioner and the intense hydratant. The together stops my breakage and detangles my hair. I uses the moisture recovery treatment when my hair is not coming out really bad. from a over press I may accidental do. It is great same softness. K-pak add extra what is needed for damaged hair. Moisture Recovery gives you the same great ingredients. Maybe one ingredient is not used because you dont need it if your hair is not damage. Love this produce.
